Manju's Chutney

From the shop owner

Manju’s is our bijou family run Indian Restaurant, nestled in the bustling and vibrant North Laines, Brighton. “Manju’s ” is named after our mother, the inspiration behind our restaurant. Manju realizing her dream of running a restaurant at the age of 80.

Our premium chutneys are handmade with love, in small quantities, in our restaurant kitchen. Our spice blends have been passed through the generations from mother to daughter. We really hope you like them!

Why we love

Manju's Chutney

With a fantastic Indian restaurant already warming the hearts (and stomachs) of those who place Indian food above all others, I was ridiculously excited to learn about Manju's new chutney range. Now I can add a gorgeous dollop of Manju's magic next to my own creations, raising them to a new personal cooking best (seriously, with a lovely dollop of their mango chutney, even my most boring cheese sandwiches taste like an expertly spiced chunk of deliciousness).

With six chutneys - from aromatic Bataku Gujarati Mango Chutney to the more sour notes of Lemon Pickle - there's something for every taste bud. Though I think my favourite is their Date and Tamarind chutney (and, yes, I've tasted them all - thanks for the pots of joy Manjus!).

I love the stylish jars with the bright lettering. Though I think what I love most is that they've solved my gifting issues for my father-in-law for evermore. A Midlander that wants nothing for Christmas or birthdays, but who has a large appetite for Indian cuisine - I feel like I'll be scooping the best gift accolade for many years to come. Absolutely perfect for some original foodie gifting. And there's free delivery on all orders over £10.

Go and take a look!
