From the shop owner
We make wheel thrown and hand-built pottery from a shared studio in Ditchling and our sunny kitchen table in Hove. Hugh throws pots on the wheel in stoneware clay and Claire hand builds her pots working with coiling and slab building techniques.
All our pots are handmade, functional and unique, decorated with natural textures and lines. We sell ready made pieces from our website and are very happy to discuss commissions.

I absolutely adore Claire and Hugh's pottery. It's got a wonderfully relaxed feel to it. Looking at their mugs I can literally smell the coffee and hear the relaxed chatter round a rustic kitchen table. (I love it when I look at an item and my mind goes on a little wander.)
